“Peewinkle’s Holiday Cabaret”

Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 28 & 29, 2017

Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio at the Indiana State Museum will once again bring to life “Peewinkle’s Holiday Cabaret”.

After a decade at the Indiana Roof Ballroom and various years at the Civic Theatre, Artcraft Theatre, Brown County Playhouse and Fountain Square Ballroom, it was decided that this production is very important for the children of Indiana.

Students will not only be entertained and educated by the variety of puppets, but also be familiarized with some of the many multi-cultural winter festival customs of Diwali, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year, Christmas and Kwanzaa. The 36ft. glittering set will host a live ballerina as well as large rod puppets and marionettes. This 45 minute production is a perfect kickoff to the holiday season for elementary school children PK - 4th grade.

This production will be held in the Dean and Barbara White Auditorium and 242 tickets are available. No discounts apply to this production. All teachers and chaperones will need a ticket. Not advisable for children under two.

Click here to buy tickets or call 317.232.1637 for reservations. Upon payment, and education packet will be emailed to you in PDF form.
